and a new approach…
We need new solutions!
We operate with a Triple Bottom Line: People, Planet & Prosperity.
We started a company to create, test and teach business, development and design models that…
… Create Housing
At CoEverything, we believe in lowercase ‘a’ affordable housing - no government tax credits for us.
This means creating non-subsidized, naturally-occurring affordable urban housing for middle income (60-100% AMI) people, so that subsidies can shift to create capital ‘A’ Affordable Housing for lower income people (less than 60% AMI) where it is critically needed.
… Lower CO2 Emissions
Not just net zero energy, but low carbon buildings.
This means we make building low carbon, energy efficient buildings easier than building standard code minimum buildings. High performance buildings without the high price.
… Expand Ownership
“Ownership for those who want it”
This means creating models that give the option to own real estate and/ or businesses to people who are typically left out. Alternative models for ownership - for those who want it.
That’s it! That’s why we care.
The CoEverything Triple Bottom Line
The “bottom line” most organizations typically talk about is the final dollar amount of their balance sheet, as if profitability was the only way to measure the success of a business. At CoEverything, we operate with a triple bottom line and help other organizations do the same.
1. People
How are all the people connected to the organization impacted by the organization itself?
How do we make all of their lives better?
2. Planet
How is the planet affected by the organization?
How do we reduce the negative impact, and increase the positive?
3. Prosperity
How do we make sure an organization is financially stable while keeping an eye toward economic equality?
