Real Estate Development

Bringing the “Co” into Real Estate Development

Real Estate for All - we use real estate development as a means for collective and community ownership!

We are working to redefine real estate development and investment as a cooperative, community-driven process that aligns profits with the people and planet. We want to Co-develop projects using alternative models to finance and own these projects. We work with our clients to form a cooperative team. By aligning everyone in the development team with parallel incentives and matching objectives, you get projects that end up closer to the original project vision (on budget, on schedule, and mission aligned).

We take on: alternative ownership structures, real estate crowdfunding, joint ventures, community solar, land and housing cooperatives.

Zero CO2 Buildings

Our Commitment

100% of the energy consumed by our buildings over the course of a year will be generated by the solar on its roof.*

*We know not all of our projects will have buildings (might be a process or product), but all that do we will push like hell to keep to this goal.

Every building must reduce its Carbon Dioxide load as much as possible and produce as much renewable energy as possible. We can build this way - and we must build this way. Net zero energy buildings are a baseline standard at CoEverything. There is no more time to wait. The devastation of climate change is already here, it is killing, displacing, and impoverishing people all over the world, and is getting worse. We must stop this.

By the numbers

Zero net energy makes sense. Most “green” certifications have all sorts of points, and various levels of certification, or numbers that few people understand. The Zero energy standard is both the most impactful for the environment and the easiest to test! Either all of the energy produced by the solar is equal to the amount of energy that is used by the building over the course of a year - or it isn’t.

Health and Comfort

Zero energy homes are more comfortable and have healthier environments - they are a gathering place for friends and a sanctuary for your family. Because zero energy homes are built better than standard buildings, you end up with fresher filtered air, more consistent temperatures, and a peaceful, quieter space.

Every Building

Net zero energy buildings are buildings that are so air-tight, well insulated, and energy efficient that when you add solar panels to them they produce as much renewable energy as they consume over the course of a year. This not only means there is a net zero energy bill, but also means your building isn’t adding to carbon emissions.
