Virtual Community Engagement

How might we create good community engagement during this Pandemic? Facing the challenge of virtually engaging with residents, neighbors and community members in the wake of the Coronavirus Pandemic, we created this Virtual Engagment Toolkit to share tips, techniques and best practices for pandemic-safe community stakeholder engagement exercises to help non-profit community developers, community organizers, artists, architects, and urban planners. Created by CoEverything as part of a workshop series with the Enterprise Rose Architecture Fellowship in 2020.

In-person Community Engagement

CoEverything “Recipes” for in-person community engagement activities. For those engaging with folks in the real world, here are a few accessible activities to try that create a fun, welcoming environment. Originally created for ABX 2018 through the Women in Design track - “Lessons from Grassroots Design Build in Professional Practice”, as part of a presentation by Miriam Gee of CoEverything with Sam Batchelor of design LAB architects.

CoEverything Good Development Project Standards

Let’s help create the communities that our communities deserve! The CoEverything Good Development Project Standards are equal parts Reference Guide, Toolkit, and Metric that promote the design and development for a better world. The Standards are not a certification program, it is a reference guide for architects & developers meant to encourage better practices in design & real estate development, for projects that strive to make a positive impact on people in their community, the planet, and contribute to the financial prosperity and wealth building of local neighborhoods. Created by Cofounders of CoEverything Declan Keefe & Miriam Gee in 2019.
