A New Model for Real Estate Development

CoPilot is a small multifamily real estate development project envisioned by CoEverything and is intended to test a series of New Development Tactics. We aim to decrease the cost of living while increasing the quality of life, and minimizing the negative environmental impact. We will implement a new community financing and engagement process, provide on site options to trade work for decreased rent, create more efficiently designed spaces, and many other ideas that we refer to as “Impact Stacking”.

We know that “business as usual” results in the same attractive developments we have seen for decades, so our approach is to reconsider every part of the development process, question everything, and to create a new model for real estate development that has a net positive impact. Many of the ideas we are testing are only possible now because of new technologies, while others are simply made possible by working cooperatively with a wide range of values-aligned stakeholders.
